Funding Rural Education Access Through Digital Storytelling

TUMO

TUMO provides cutting-edge technology and creative education to youth in Armenia and around the world. Their TUMO Centers offer world-class programs in animation, game development, filmmaking, music, and more—equipping young people with skills that prepare them for the future. While these centers have transformed education in urban areas, access remained limited to children in city centers, leaving rural communities without the same opportunities.

The Problem

TUMO had built something extraordinary. Their education centers were changing lives. But there was a gap.

Kids in rural Armenia couldn't access TUMO Centers. Geography was keeping them from world-class education that their urban peers were already benefiting from. TUMO needed a way to bring their programs to these communities, but building traditional centers wasn't feasible.

They had a solution: the TUMO Box, a shipping container transformed into a mobile education classroom. What they needed was funding to make it happen at scale.

Our Solution

We built a digital campaign around a bold goal: put a TUMO Box within 40 minutes of every child in Armenia.

The campaign told the story of the TUMO Box and made it easy for donors to take action. An interactive map let people sponsor specific locations, connecting their contribution to real communities. Donors received a special gift directly from the teens they were supporting, creating a personal connection between giver and beneficiary.

We integrated the campaign with Donately to streamline donations and track progress. The result was an online experience that made the mission clear, the impact tangible, and the act of giving meaningful.
